Amazing
I have been wanting a Sony TV for a VERY long time, I can’t believe I finally purchased this model. Fairly easy setup. Excellent picture! Wonderful 3D quality! I had to purchase a 3rd pair of 3D glasses and the TDG-BT500A was very easy to pair.
Great refresh rate. Motionflow works great on movies (both Blu-Ray and DVD) and my games. I got to get use to it on 3D, though. My brain can’t seem to process all the information of smooth flowing 3D cinema. LOL!
Trying the Playstation Now is great! It was even easy to pair my Dualshock 3 controller. Downsides are that it stays on when I stop playing Playstation Now and that I have to pair it to my PS3 when I need it for the console.
It is pretty cool that I can control my PS3 XMB using the TV remote. Downside of that is you need to make sure the TV can sense the remote so it can send the signal via HDMI. It is understandable, however.
Wonderful idea that the stand can convert to a wall mount with included hardware setup.
Coming from a 42″ other brand, I am so grateful I purchased this TV.

Perfectly Met Our Needs
This 50″ Sony W800B was the perfect size for our small den. We really didn’t want one any larger than this. The quality of the picture is amazing compared to our old 32″ XBR Sony from about eight years ago. So we are delighted with the purchase. The set needed no adjustment at all. The picture was perfect with the initial settings. The setup went smoothly as well. We paired this set with a new Sony sound bar and we have been delighted with the combination. I don’t think that the 4k sets would have much advantage over this one.

Good TV; poor information
The picture quality of our new tV is great, but we have had this TV since May and my exasperation with sound issues finally led me to do a live chat (which didn’t solve the problem but at least led me to the section of the I Manuel which helped me solve my problem). SONY needs to create a much more user friendly manuel. I would never find the audio info (the word is not referenced in the hard copy manuel) without the direction of the online chat. I knew that our 10 year old Sony had audio options, and I couldn’t believe that this TV did not. For over 40 users, you need to spend a bit more on paper and regardless, Sony needs to at least reference WHERE a person can control the audio settings. The problem for us was the factory set surround sound (which tended to drown out the dialogue on most programs). I am now happy with my TV, but that was after questioning the audio for three months.

The Best Is Here
After a few minor hitches,(bit of non information),and a software update, all I can say is, WOW,yes this TV has a WOW factor of 5 stars, anyone wanting more, simply will never be happy, this TV has done everything I wanted and way way more,in fact the only problem is the transmission of the TV networks, mostly in 570i,GET your act together,As sony has given me so much fine tuning but it does know good unless transmission is state of the art. This is truely a positive step into a fantasy world come true.
All you lucky people who get the next c series will have all the bugs worked out,A real Masterpiece to be proud of Sony Thank You
